```Minimum Qualifications```
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related area.
- State approved license preferred. (OSHA)
- Over 5 years professional experience on live facility maintenance preferred.
- Experience with Korean company/culture preferred.

- Safety Regulations and Standards: Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to the facility and industry.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and reporting requirements.
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Understanding of hazard identification techniques and risk assessment methodologies to identify potential workplace hazards and prioritize mitigation measures.
- Safety Management Systems: Familiarity with safety management systems and processes, including incident reporting, investigation, corrective actions, and performance metrics.
- Emergency Response and Crisis Management: Knowledge of emergency response protocols, including evacuation procedures, emergency communication systems, and coordination with external emergency services.
- Safety Training and Education: Understanding of adult learning principles and techniques to develop and deliver effective safety training programs for employees at all levels.

```Essential Functions```
- Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and establish comprehensive safety policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Ensure policies are communicated effectively and consistently implemented throughout the organization.
- Conduct Safety Inspections and Audits: Perform regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify potential safety hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance with safety regulations. Document findings, recommend corrective actions, and track their implementation.
- Safety Training and Education: Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees, contractors, and visitors, covering topics such as hazard identification, emergency response procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and equipment safety protocols.
- Incident Management and Investigation: Lead the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses. Collect and analyze data, determine root causes, and develop recommendations to prevent future occurrences. Ensure timely reporting of incidents as required by applicable regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. Ensure facility compliance with applicable codes, permits, and licenses. Develop and maintain records and documentation required for regulatory reporting.
- Emergency Preparedness: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, fire safety protocols, and first aid programs. Conduct drills and exercises to test preparedness and identify areas for improvement.
- Safety Communication and Promotion: Foster a culture of safety awareness and engagement by promoting safety initiatives, organizing safety campaigns, and encouraging employee participation. Communicate safety updates, news, and best practices through various channels.
- Contractor and Vendor Safety Management: Evaluate and select contractors and vendors based on their safety performance and compliance. Develop and enforce safety requirements for external parties working on-site. Conduct safety assessments and audits of contractor activities.
- Safety Program Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives through data analysis, metrics, and performance indicators. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to continuously enhance safety performance.
- Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facility management, operations, human resources, and risk management, to integrate safety practices into various aspects of facility operations and decision-making processes.
